New York Mutual Trading’s Japanese Food and Restaurant Expo features exhibitors showcasing new products in food, seasoning, and restaurant ware, and draws quite the crowd of people from the food and restaurant industries in the Northeast. (Last year, 1200 people attended the Expo.)
At the Expo, there will be a space designated for Ninohe specialties, and the producers will have the opportunity to tell attendees about their product and offer samples.

- Video presentation (theater seating)
- Nanbu-Bijin tasting at a bar counter. The sake will be served in lacquerware (original cocktail menu crafted by manager and bartender of popular East Village bar Angel’s Share, Nana Shimosegawa, who is from Iwate Prefecture)
- Presentation of Nanbu-Bijin no sugar added umeshu (plum sake)’s poster that won the advertising award in the PDN photo contest
- Lecture on lacquerware in the lounge area
- Sale of lacquerware
